The only asteroid that we will be visiting is Ceres. This unique asteroid was the first object to be discovered in the asteroid belt. However, Ceres has many things in common with Earth and Mars. It carries large quantities of water ice underneath its surface. Many scientists have found evidence of water vapor on Ceres. Many astronomers question the idea that Ceres was once composed of 25% water. Ceres accounts approximately one third of the mass of the entire asteroid belt. The thin, dusty crust is thought to be composed of rock, while a rocky inner core lies at the center. During our visit to Ceres, we will be doing two fantastic activities. These activities are paragliding and ultimate hide and seek. Ceres has water vapor that arises from its volcanoes so many of you will be experiencing a great time with beautiful scenery. In addition, we will also have hide and seek set up for the younger children and adults. This trip will not only be a calm visit, but a chance to relieve any stress as you glide in the air or hide your troubles away.
