Our first stop is the Sun or “Sol”. The Sun is the center of the Solar System as it takes up 99.86% of the Solar System’s mass. Its mass generates a gravitational force that holds the Solar System together. Also, the nuclear fusion that is in the Sun provides energy for all forms of life on Earth. This giant ball of super heated gas is also responsible for the climate and weather on Earth. Light from the Sun travels to Earth at the speed of eight minutes. During our wonderful and relaxing visit to the Sun we will have tanning sessions and a closing bonfire, where we will sing songs, tell scary stories, and make s’mores. This visit is one of the many destinations on the FAM Interplanetary Space Cruise that will urge you to make family bonds and help you connect with new people.
