The eighth stop is The Kuiper Belt. It is an area of the outer solar system. It contains hundreds of icy bodies that range in size from small chunks to landscape of 100 kilometers across.During the trip to the Kuiper Belt we will be going to an outdoor planetaruim to observe comets, stars, and other planets. We will also be ice skating on the layer of ice. The ice that is in the Kuiper Belt dates back to the early formation of the Solar System. The ice gives us information about how the solar system was formed and how the solar nebula became a part of it.
